Whitelisting - How To Make Sure You Get Readings, The Dreamtimes, Free Samples, Mini-Courses, Newsletters and Email

AOL

If you're using AOL, you can ensure that your The Dreamtime messages are delivered to your Inbox by setting your Mail Controls. Here's how:

For AOL version 9.0 or higher:   (for version 7.0 and 8.0 look further down)

• Click on the Mail Menu in the Menu Bar along the top of the screen, or,
• Click on Mail Center
• Mail Center Screen appears,
• Under Mail Preferences click on 'Customize your e-mail' and Click Next->
• Under Essentials click on 'Spam Controls' and Click Next->
• Mail and Spam Controls Screen appears
  
• On the right panel of the screen make sure that 'Mail filtered by AOL's Advanced Spam Filter' is turned On (checkmark appears), and that underneath that you have both 'Mail with clickable Hyberlinks (URLS)' and 'Mail containing words and phrases on my Custom Word List' turned Off (no checkmark appearing).
  
• On the left panel
  Make sure that 'Block mail containing pictures or files' is turned Off (no checkmark appearing) - we may sometimes send you a file - especially if you place an order, or graphics in your Email.
  
• On the left panel select either:
  (*) 'Allow mail from all senders' (allows ALL e-mail)
  or
  (*) 'Use a Custom Sender list' (allows selective e-mail)
  Note: the other options are too selective to allow e-mail from us, and almost anyone else who might send you e-mail.
  
• If you select Option 1 above: 'Allow mail from all senders', you're done.

• If you select Option 2 above: 'Use a Custom Sender list'
  Follow these instructions to allow e-mail from The Dreamtime:
  
• Click on the blue link: Custom Sender List that is part of 'Use a Custom Sender List' option.

• Make sure you select the second option (*) 'Allow only the domains and senders listed below'
• In the space provided, enter the addresses below:

      thedreamtimemail.com and Click 'Add
  To allow e-mail from AOL or your friends at AOL you also want to do the following...
• In the space provided, enter the addresses below:
      aol.com and Click 'Add'
  To accept e-mail from other domains add the other domains in the same way you did above for all of the domains or friends e-mail addresses you want to add.
• Click Save (on the Custom Sender List screen)->
• Click Save to Apply these Mail Controls (on the Mail and Spam Controls screen)->
• Close any remaining open windows.

EarthLink

If you're using EarthLink, you can ensure that your The Dreamtime messages are delivered to your Inbox by adding our company domain names that we send mail from, and my private Email address at Comcast to your Address Book, and removing us from your Blocked List if we are in it, you can do this using the TotalAccess software, or by using WebMail (online Email), follow the steps below.

Here's how:

• Using Web Mail (Macintosh, or Windows Online):    (for myEarthlink/TotalAccess look further down)
• Sign in to Web Mail if you haven't done so already.
• Click the Address Book link in the left menu pane, below your Inbox and other mail folders.
• Click the All Categories pull-down menu (middle of white screen, in Address Book section below Checked items) and choose Companies (Domains).
• Click the Add button (next to the Companies (Domains) category menu).
• In the space provided, enter the address below:
      thedreamtime.com
  
• Click 'Allow This Company (Domain)' button to add the domain name.
• Click the Add button again (middle left of white screen next to Categories pull-down menu).
• In the space provided, enter the address below:
      thedreamtimemail.com
  
  
• Click 'Save' Button (top right of the screen) to add my contact name information.
  You should also make sure that we are not appearing in your Blocked Sender List 
   
• Click the spamBlocker link in the left menu pane, below your Inbox and other mail folders.
  
• In the list of tabs along the top part of the screen (below where it says spamBlocker) click on Settings
  
• Click on Blocked Sender List (in the lower right part of the screen)
• Look through the list, and Click on any address that is from The Dreamtime (including thedreamtime.com, or thedreamtimemail.com )
• Click the Unblock Sender button to unblock this address
• Repeat the steps above, (clicking on an address, and then the Unblock Sender button) for any of The Dreamtime addresses listed above.
• Click 'Save' Button (lower right part of screen)

• Click the Unblock Sender button to unblock this address
• Repeat the steps above, (clicking on an address, and then the Unblock Sender button) for any of The Dreamtime addresses listed above.
• Click the Apply Changes button.

Excite

Excite used to be notorious for blocking email with attached files. Their new interface claims that you can 'safe list' someone.  To do that follow instructions below.  If you want to be absolutely sure you receive our email you may want to skip beyond the instructions to the next paragraph explaining how you can setup a free Yahoo email account to receive our email.

• Click on Preferences (top right of screen) from the email application
• Click on Junk Mail Controls (along left menu)
• scroll down to Safe List and Block List
• In the box next to [Add] button, enter the following address: brett@thedreamtime.com
• click Add button
• In the box next to [Add] button, enter the following address: brett@thedreamtimemail.com
• click Add button

Yahoo!

To ensure that your The Dreamtime is delivered to your Yahoo Inbox (not the Bulk Mail folder), you can instruct Yahoo to filter it to your Inbox. Here's how:

• Open your Yahoo mailbox.
• Click Mail Options (usually Upper Right Corner)
• Click Filters. (Left Column toward the bottom)
• Next, click Add Filter.
• in Filter Name box type 'TheDreamtime'
• In the top row, labeled From header:, make sure contains is selected in the pull-down menu.
• Click in the text box next to that pull-down menu, then cut/paste the text below:

Google Gmail

To ensure that your The Dreamtime is delivered to your Gmail Inbox (not the Spam folder), there is one option. You can setup a filter to tell Gmail to make sure to deliver messages from us to your Inbox. Please complete the steps below.

Here's how:

• Setup a Filter in Gmail to accept Email from TheDreamtime.com.
• Open your Gmail mailbox.
• Click the Settings Gear Icon (usually Upper Right Corner of your screen)
• The Settings Menu appears, click 'Settings' to bring up all of your Gmail settings.
• Click Filters. (usually 4th tab over underneath Settings)
• Next, click Create a new filter, usually at the bottom of the page, underneath any current filters you may have already setup.  
• In the top row, labeled From:,
• Click in the text box next to From: and cut/paste the text below:

• Next, click Create filter with this search, bottom right of Filter window.
• Now you need to tell Gmail what to do with mail from TheDreamtime.com. Make sure the checkboxes: Never send it to Spam (is [x] Checked), also, if you like, check the checkbox: Always mark it as Important ([x] checked).  
• Now tell Google to create a Label, make sure the Apply the label (is [x] Checked), and click the [Choose label] selection list - setup a new label and give it a custom color if you like (this can be done later after you assign the label), select 'New label' from the box and enter a new name such as 'thedreamtime'. 
• Make sure the box Also apply filter to xx matching conversations (is [x] Checked). 
• Click the Create filter button. 
• You should now see your Filter you just created applying a custom label and telling Gmail to make sure that Email from us (thedreamtime) goes to your inbox.

Others

Many popular e-mail programs, including Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora, and Netscape don't provide a convenient way for you to white-list the folks you want to receive e-mail from. If you're using this sort of e-mail system and you either aren't getting your The Dreamtime message or want to make sure you continue to receive your The Dreamtimes in the future, you can do something about it.

Contact the customer service people or the Postmaster at the company that provides your e-mail or Internet connection (your ISP). Explain to them that The Dreamtime is e-mail that you asked for and value. Ask them if they can white-list The Dreamtime. They'll probably ask you for some information about us. Here's what to tell them:
