Brett Emmerson Wyatt - A Poet's Life
Writing poetry since the age of 5 opens up emotional holes that most people do not respect or accept.
Hopefully opening a window of all spiritual emotional boundaries to the point of
extravagance will obviate a further understanding of the life and living (of extreme pain
and pleasure) that any poet must subject themselves to before creating any body of work with substance.
While some may not be able to empathize with the poet him/her self, it is the objective of these pages
to create an aperture into the mind & feelings of a poet so that
others poets may benefit by helping to disintegrate the lines of expression sometimes drawn
between a typical emotional reaction and one that is felt, and eventually fully realized, in the words of the
poem itself.
